VMware is used to installs multiple software and operating systems in one place. this is a major advantage of VMware so we used these advantages to install kali-Linux in VMware

How to install kali-Linux in VMware

Install VMware

The first step is we need to install the VMware software so you to download this software as compatibility to your laptop. and install

Download VMware Pro 15

Download Kali-Linux

After that, we need to download a kali-Linux ISO image so click this below to download button

Install kali-Linux in VMware

First of all, we need to install the VMware workstation, then click the “File” option and choose “New Virtual Machine” to install the operating system.

Now no need to change anything so click “Next” to proceed

Now click the “Browse” option to select the downloaded Kali-Linux ISO file

Then It automatically detects the operating system, so click “Next” to proceed.

After that type the machine name and give the location of which place you want to save the logs and files of this operating system

Then we need to give disk space for this operating system, The disk space should be a minimum of 50 GB space

In this place Click on “Customize Hardware” and proceed to the next.

Now We need to customize the following three

1. Ram management
2. Processors
3. Network Management

1. RAM Management

Here you can set the RAM for this operating system according to yourself

2. Procecers

You must choose the number of processors and the number of core processors equally.

3. Network Management

It is mandatory to set the network connection to “Bridge” to communicate to the localhost machine along with the VMware machine.

 Then boot the Kali Linux machine and click on the “graphical install” option

Now you select the language which you want

After that Choose the keyboard language

Now enter the usename

Set the password of the user created and proceed to the next.

Choose the time zone according to your country.

In this place, you don’t change anything. just choose the first option and move on to the next.

Again select the First option and proceed to the next.

Now the Disk space partitioning is completed. So Click “Continue” and proceed.

Now We want to change the partition of the disk space, so we will click “Yes” and proceed.

We will only install the software so don’t change anything so click “continue“.

Now we will click on “yes” to install the GURB boot loader.

Then select the second option and move to the next

Now the installation process was started it will take a long time after complete the installation the page was as shown in the below image

Now just click the “continue” button to login your linux machine
